  My cat's teeth were ground down past the roots by Dr Joe and I consulted a pet dentist and was told my cat was in immense pain and chewing would be very difficult for him. On top of his chin becoming infected from the wire that was put in to repair his broken jaw, except they left it in way too long and I was never told when or if it needed to come out so I called and asked when I saw the infection. Perhaps just an old fashioned vet, but I wish my cat didn't have to suffer for it. No bad experiences with his daughter but I left soon after she started working there.

  I love the staff and the Dr. But, I have had to take my animals for second checks at different vets because of mis diagnosing my pets. He'll tell me well everything looks fine and if it gets worse come back. Well, I wouldn't be there if everything was fine. I know my pet and when something is wrong. I almost lost my cat to him doing this. I took him the next day to an emergency center and thank God I did. He could barely walk when I took him in to Joe's but with the adrenalin from nerves he was walking around and I told him that. My cat is alive and well because of my knowledge knowing my pets. If you have a gut feeling, go with it, and get a second opinion. Why do some Dr's shrug it off? Dont they know our pets mean the world to us? It really gets to me when I pay a vet just to go pay another for the right answers and help!
